Lake Stråken as well as the small river Tidan provides fantastic nature experiences. Along Lake Stråken there are some resting-spots set up along the lake where you can stay overnight. You hire your canoe at Kyrkekvarns kanotcenter

While you are in Mullsjö there are several wandering hiking trails to choose between. If you are not satisfied with the trail “Mullsjö runt”, about 23 km, you can walk against Syrakusa in Italy.

Our walking trails are a part of the European trail nr: 1. The trails “Västra” and “Södra Vätterleden” as well as ”Eriksgatuleden” which follows a hole way system from the middle ages) are other well kept and nice trails.

You can find floodlit trails at two locations in the community. One in Mullsjö and the other in Sandhem.

Down hill and cross country skiing

Mullsjö is known for its skiing facilities, thanks to the height over the sea and all artificial snow from snow canons (some heights over 300 metres over sea).

Mullsjö Alpin at Knaggebo is one of the South of Sweden’s most excellent skiing locations with a marvellous snow canon establishment. Mullsjö Alpin has 5 pists, 4 lifts, repair shop, ski-shop, floodlights and cafeteria. There are also pists for children and snow-board skiers.
